The Vent-Rite 35 is a straight, non-adjustable air vent valve steam featuring a 3/4" male x 1/2" female connection. It has durable nickel-plated brass internal and a hand-polished exterior, capable of handling up to 3 psi.
This component is designed for air elimination and heat distribution. It operates automatically to release air, promoting fast, controlled, and even heating across all radiation points—key to maintaining peak system performance. If an unusual condition causes the vent to fill with water, the vent port seals itself to prevent complications.
The Vent-Rite 35 directly replaces Dole 4, Hoffman 45, and Maid O Mist 45 for main vent applications in steam systems. It comes with external labeling for easy identification and maintenance.
Note: The operating pressure (drop-away) refers to the maximum pressure at which the vent will continue to open and close in response to temperature changes. The vent can be used with slightly higher pressure, provided it drops below the operating pressure between firing cycles.
