The Wayne Combustion 62391-002 is an Electrode Assembly for HSG200 & HSG400 Housing Gas Burner.
The 62391-002 is part of the burner's gas train assembly together with the burner head, 62390-002 probe sensor, VR8305M4801 combination valve, 62402-001 orifice housing, and 62404-002 housing cover.
The electrode is made of a metal rod covered with a porcelain insulator. Replacing the electrode is necessary when the insulator has cracks and if there is corrosion in the metal rod. If not replaced, the burner may not ignite during the trial for ignition phase.
